LIFE Ricotí Project will be present at the Extremadura Birdwatching Fair (FIO) 2018, the most important international festival of ornithological and nature tourism in Spain.

During 2017, the LIFE-Ricotí project has carried out an evaluation of the relative importance of different environmental factors related to habitat quality in explaining the presence and abundance of Dupont´s lark.
Between the 15th and the 23rd of January, the first Environmental Education Days took place within the framework of the LIFE Ricotí Programme, attended by elementary students of the southern area of Soria.
During the spring of 2017, the LIFE-Ricotí project has carried out a complete survey of Dupont’s lark populations within ‘Altos de Barahona’ and ‘Páramo de Layna’ Special Protection Areas (SPAs).
