Participating day of LIFE Ricotí Project with representatives of the tourism sector in Soria to inform on the general lines of the Ornithological Tourism Plan in the South of Soria

Last Wednesday 7th March, in the Provincial Deputation of Soria, took place the first meeting of the LIFE Ricotí Project with entrepreneurs and operators working in the provincial tourism sector to present the basis for the future Ornithological Tourism Plan.

Continuing with the implementation of actions planned in the project, the Provincial Deputation of Soria presented the proposals to be carried out regarding tourism in the south of the province.

In front of a representation of owners, local action groups and tourist technicians have presented the general lines of what will be the future Ornithological Tourism Plan called “Birdwatching Soria”, with proposals designed to boost and develop a new touristic product based in birds’ observation.

With actions such as designing ornithological paths, building observatories, providing training days for avifauna technicians and other dedicated to give advice and support to touristic infrastructures of the area make up the basic line of actions of this new project.
